Life and Colors of Sindh
Sindh is one of the four provinces of Pakistan, in the southeast of the country. Historically home to the Sindhi people, it is also locally known as the Mehran. Sindh finds mention in the Hindu epic Mahabharata as being part of Bharatvarsha. In 711, Muhammad bin Qasim conquered the Sindh and Indus Valley, bringing South Asian societies into contact with Islam. (more history on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sindh). I traveled to lower Sindh areas adjacent to Hyderabad. Sindh has a lot to offer for photographer like me, i was able to get chance to visit some of the historic places and witness cultures existing since centuries in this region. In this gallery you will see images from: Tomb of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai a sufi Saint, Hindu Community, Tharparker region, Shah Jahan Mosque from 16th Century, ruins of Makli Grave Yard, Bangle Market, life of people.
